Every word in English belongs to a special group called "Parts of Speech"! Think of them as different teams where each word has a special job to do in sentences!

🏠

NOUN

What is it? A noun is a naming word! It names people, places, animals, or things.

Examples:

  • People: boy, girl, teacher, doctor
  • Places: school, park, home, city
  • Animals: cat, dog, elephant, bird
  • Things: book, car, apple, toy

VERB
